Hey Canada! Why Not Vote Bloc?

Everyone loves Quebec. How could you not? I'd be the first to migrate there myself if they ever asserted their sovereignty by separating confederate ties - be these bindings literal or symbolic - with the rest of Canada. I'm sure they'd love to have the likes of me living there... I'd start a Franco-rock group called, "Chauve-Souris de Luna."

Translated for Anglos, Chauve-Souris de Luna means Bat from the Moon, or more succinctly, Moon Bat. Good name, eh? My mind never stops. During an afternoon nap yesterday, I dreamed I was a time traveller visiting 1998, soon before finding myself transported to the middle of a psychedelic jam session in some weird rec room with Sid Barret and Burton Cummings.

Election time in Canada... again. I'll probably vote for Harper mainly because the other candidates haven't performed a Beatles number - or any number? - on live television like Stephen Harper did when he sang, "With A Little Help From My Friends" with a little help from Yo Yo Ma during that whatever it was in Upper Canada or wherever... go look it up! Not sure what it's worth, but to me, Harper seems the least phony and the most realistic of any of the major party candidates. Why isn't the Green Party getting any broadcast media coverage? We'll see what develops. Now more than ever, the power is in the hands of the people to influence opinion through the internet! Get in touch with your MP - the Member of Parliament for my district actually follows ME on Twitter because I'm so radical and innovative in my thinking.

Has anyone else noticed people seem a bit edgy these days? Is it just me? I feel pretty good, and wish I could just make music all day, but I keep getting hung-up on the magnitude of recent catastrophic events - and feeling frustrated with the crazy women I love. I have this unshakable sense that certain aspects of the future, like the fate of humanity for example, could be very grim indeed. We (and by that I mean me) should strive to enjoy any good moment, if nothing else, for it is truly all that any of us really have.
